In the heart of Chicago’s Korea Town,
Java N Mug is the right place if you need to slow it down
With comfy couches, coffee tables, and a bookshelf
It’s a place that makes you feel like you’re in your living room, either hanging out with friends or by yourself
It’s cozy and relaxing, very welcoming and warm
Perfect for the wintertime, especially during a Chicago snowstorm
A table filled with different games and cards is welcome for anyone to use,
from Jenga to Uno, you can sit and play with whatever you choose
With a big dessert and drink menu, it’s hard to pick one thing
and after taking one look at the menu, you’ll want just about everything
Known for their waffles that are warm and gooey, topped with vanilla and whipped cream
And then there’s the creamy green tea chai latte, where every sip tastes like a dream
The baristas create intricate designs in the coffee, like flowers or hearts,
this makes each cup of coffee a beautiful work of art
The macarons are from France, sent from the owner’s friend…
with each crispy bite you’ll be wishing it would never end
Ramen noodles is the ultimate comfort and even feels like a treat,
and then there’s Korean candy if you’re craving something sweet
Java N Mug is open until midnight, a great place to unwind and end your day
A home away from home, either if you want to work or play!

What a cute blog idea! I love it. Now I don’t feel so bad that most of my love poems are about food, not people 🙂

Hi Donna, I did not get a chance to go to Java n Mug. But, I did go for espresso at Bowtruss and SoHo House. The Bowtruss Heritage Blend is amazing. It is available at Whole Foods.
