From the Land of Lincoln to the Grand Canyon State,
coming from the windy city, AZ shows us a different climate
With the palm trees up high, to the cacti that fill the land,
Arizona is a desert you’ve never seen before, without all the sand

With a warm breeze,
the air will put you at ease,
have you wishing the minutes you can freeze,
while each moment you seize!

With 90 Degree weather in May, nothing beats going for a cruise on a beautiful day,
where the Arizona streets are wide and open like the Chicago highways
Passing different restaurants on every corner,
will make any Chicago native feel like a foreigner
Names like Dutch Bros Coffee, Baked Bear, In-N-Out Burger, and Jack in the Box,
are popular west-coast chains that you can find in almost every other block

In-N-Out, is debatably the best burger in the United States,
and Baked Bear is known for their ice cream sandwiches that you yourself can create,
while Dutch Bros’ coffee will make you want to celebrate,
altogether, these spots are fit for a Chicagoan to appreciate!

From the food to the weather,
the Arizona and Chicago connection works well together
With their differences, each state has a spot to fill,
where with each want it can fulfill,
from the busy city, to the warm land where you’ll be able to chill,
the ORD to PHX trip is one that will sure give you a thrill!

So how did you like Dutch Bros?? Isn’t it awesome? The only reason why I put up with the summer heat here in Chandler Arizona is because of what you included in your post!!

    Great job!

I never get tired of seeing palm trees and cactus in December. We moved here from Wisconsin in 2012 after the worst seven winters of our lives! Lol I could never go back!! There are so many people who live here from your neck of the woods!!

We could see why you can’t see yourself going back! And that’s very true, we met many people from Chicago around the area so we see the Arizona, Chicago connection very well over there!

I used to go to Phoenix and Tempe, AZ, for work some years ago. I remember enjoying the shock of moving from the hot outside to the cold air conditioned interiors. I also remember In-N-Out Burgers which were pretty good.

We were around the Pheonix, Tempe area. It wasn’t as hot as their summers but we definitely enjoyed the heat! And who doesn’t like a good In-N-Out Burger?? 😋

Oh my! This photo makes me want to drive straight to In and Out Burger here in the Bay Area. And I haven’t had breakfast yet!
I also love hearing about the other businesses in the area. Sometimes I feel like blogging about a perfect day like yours where you can bring in the reader and make them feel like they were there too!
    Great read. Off to breakfast….

I miss In n Out Burgers since I moved back east. They are SOO WICKED GOOD! Puts all other burgers to shame. Their french fries are also to die for. Glad you spotlighted on this change. Even the pictures are making my mouth water!
