Furious Spoon

Furious Spoon
2410 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647

What started off as a ramen shop in Japan in 1960, Chef Sin made his dream come true,
by recreating his grandfather’s ramen shop and bringing it to Chicago where it rapidly grew
With the help of restaurateur Anshul Mangal, Furious Spoon’s in the spotlight ramen has built a name,
where the Furious Spoon’s logo has won the heart’s of many with it’s colorful flame

Classic hip-hop plays through the speakers giving the environment a hip vibe,
Songs with dope beats, and also Chicago artists, will make any Chicagoan jam out with pride
With the hip-hop music and ramen combination, it’s a blend that’s fun to describe,
while you slurp your ramen, the background music will take you from Kanye to the Tribe

Their homemade ramen noodles are especially perfect with the Chicago weather
For either a sunny summer morning, or a cold winter night, hot ramen and Chicago work well together
The Furious Ramen, with tonkotsu broth, spicy miso, and a fury sauce, is highly esteemed,
loaded with pork belly, chicken, and egg, mixed with the spices, it might make you yell out a happy scream,
Along with other ramen bowls, there are also rice bowls that are loaded with the Furious Spoon taste,
they are guaranteed to have you clean your bowl, where not a bite you’ll want to waste

And with a drink on the side, the Furious Spoon cocktails will fill your needs,
with unique names and tastes, your expectations they are sure to exceed
With a summer menu of cocktails, they are loaded with fun,
Dat Good Green, which is smoky, vegetable, and light, is a popping one,
or the Shoalin Colada, which is playful and creamy, goes just right for a day in the sun,
Other hip-hop inspired drinks, like the Nuthin’ But A Gin Thang, with Fords gin,
Mixed with mint and lime, is a bright and botanical win,
And the Worst Behavior, a Drake song turned drink,
With it’s tart, floral, and citrusy flavor, it’ll have you remember the Worst Behavior lyrics to lip sync

With music, drinks, and ramen, Furious Spoon is the bomb times twenty,
to meet each unique personality, with its options there are plenty
So if you’re looking to have some ramen while listening to a cool soundtrack,
hit up Furious Spoon, and enjoy your meal while listening to some dope music and kickback!

This looks to die for…we have a couple Ramen Bar’s in Silicon Valley that don’t take lunch reservations, so the wait can be 1.5 hours. It’s worth it though. The Furious Spoon looks very much of that caliber. : )

When its good food, the wait sure is worth it! Thankfully they saved us a seat, but there is a wait if you get there during the rush hour!

Wow!! This really looks like something to dine for!!

I use to love making up dishes with flavors of ramen, veggies and leftovers. It was a great way of using up the leftovers and a lot healthier maybe than how I eat these days. Thanks for the memories and the inspiration to maybe head back toward these kinds of dishes.

Love the blog you two put out! It’s very well put together and more than once inspired me to actually stop doing things and maybe eat! Thank you for that!!

We will have to do some kind of East coast Midwest exchange cause if you’ve never been to Jersey the JustGrubbin fam would be more than happy to show you a great time! We may not be as renowned as Chicago for our food scene, but def have a lot to offer.

I love it that this business owner is now making a mint off of the very product that I and many of my friends, as starving college students, survived off of our first year. Lol.🤣 I don’t think I’ve had a bowl of them since (and that was many moons ago😂). However, for Furious Spoon’s sake, I’m glad there are those out there who still like them! 😉
